Naomi’s experience includes a stint at Gombe State Specialist Hospital as a Medical Laboratory Technology Assistant from April to June 2021. During this time, she conducted a wide range of laboratory tests and maintained and calibrated laboratory equipment with precision and accuracy. She also interned at General Hospital Kaltungo, Gombe State, from September 1 to September 30, 2021, as a Medical Laboratory Technologist. In this role, she supervised and implemented quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results and collaborated effectively with medical professionals, physicians, and healthcare staff to deliver the highest standard of patient care.
Naomi’s educational background includes a National Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology from Gombe State College of Health Science and Technology, Kaltungo, obtained in 2022. She completed her Senior Secondary Education at Government Day Secondary School, Kashere, in 2018, her Junior Secondary School Education at Jakadafari Secondary School, Gombe, in 2015, and her Primary School Education at Jakadafari Primary School, Gombe, in 2012.
She has also participated in various trainings, seminars, and conferences, including training on Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTD) in North-East Nigeria, organized by the Primary Healthcare Department of the Gombe State Ministry of Health in collaboration with UNICEF, held in August 2022 at State Hotel, Kaltungo. She also attended a five-day workshop on Fish Farming and Environmental Impact Assessment organized by Rural Water Supply Sanitation and Hygiene (RUWASSA) Gombe, held in April 2022 at Hauwa Memorial Hall Tumfure – Gombe State.
