Each board member brings unique skills and perspectives, contributing to the dynamic and inclusive environment that defines REF. Justina Mu’azu Adamu brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the Rosana Empowerment Foundation (REF) as a prospective Board of Trustees member. With a robust background spanning public health, environmental hygiene, and community mobilization, Justina’s career exemplifies dedication and impact in the field.

Educationally, Justina laid a solid foundation at Trans Primary School Banganje in Billiri, Gombe State, earning her First School Leaving Certificate in 1976 before advancing to Government Secondary School in Kaltungo, where she obtained her GCE ‘O’ Level in 1983. Her passion for public health led her to pursue a Diploma in Public Health at the College of Health Science and Technology, Maiduguri, from 1988 to 1991. To broaden her skills, Justina earned a Certificate in Computer Appreciation from PalmGate Computer Institute, Bauchi, in 2007.

Ejiogu Vitus Chibueze is a versatile broadcast journalist with a profound passion for broadcasting and journalism. Possessing strong technical and language skills, he excels in his role as an outstanding broadcast journalist, demonstrating a commitment to integrity and professionalism.

Ejiogu’s exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, enable him to effectively convey information to diverse audiences. His determination, resilience, and hard work underscore a robust work ethic and dedication to his craft. Courage and self-confidence drive him to tackle challenges head-on, contributing to his success in the field.

In addition to broadcasting proficiency, Ejiogu is adept in computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, showcasing adaptability in the evolving media industry. His educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communication (TV Journalism) from Ahmadu Bello University. 

Dr. Chinelo Josephine Ezekulie is a seasoned academic with over 14 years of university-level teaching, currently holding the position of Reader (Associate Professor) in the Department of English at the University of Jos. With a strong academic background, including a PhD in English Language from the University of Jos (2018), an MA in English & Literary Studies from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (2008), and a BA in Education/English from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (1996), she exemplifies expertise in English syntax, phonetics, phonology, stylistics, and pragmatics.

Joseph Vitus Chibuike is a dynamic and dedicated professional with a proven track record in leadership, community engagement, and advocacy for gender equality. His extensive experience in various capacities uniquely positions him as an invaluable asset to the Rosana Empowerment Foundation (REF) as a Board of Trustees member.

Joseph’s educational journey reflects his commitment to excellence and continuous learning. He attended the Evangel Group of Schools in Gombe from 2009 to 2013, where he obtained his First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC). He continued his education at Evangel College, Gombe, from 2013 to 2019, earning the West African School Certificate (WASC). In 2020, he further enhanced his skills through the National Computer Literacy Programme, obtaining a certificate in computer literacy. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Law at Gombe State University.

Ohanwe Christiana Ukamaka is a seasoned engineer who transcends her professional role, emerging as a compassionate force committed to fostering positive change. Currently serving as a dedicated lecturer in the Department of Agricultural and Bio-Environmental Engineering at the Federal Polytechnic, Oko, Anambra State, Nigeria, her journey epitomizes a profound dedication to education and compassion.

Ukamaka holds a Master’s in Educational Technology and boasts Postgraduate Diplomas in Agricultural/Bio-Resource Engineering and Education, complementing her educational foundation, which includes a Higher National Diploma and a National Diploma.

In the professional realm, she distinguishes herself as a registered member of The Council for Registration of Engineering (COREN) and a corporate member of the Nigeria Association of Technologists (NATE). Further emphasizing her commitment to education, she is duly registered with the Teacher’s Registration Council in Nigeria (TRCN).

Benedicta Vitus Chinyere is a dynamic and dedicated professional with a proven track record in leadership, community engagement, and advocacy for gender equality. Her extensive experience in various capacities uniquely positions her as an invaluable asset to the Rosana Empowerment Foundation (REF) as a Board of Trustees member.

Benedicta’s educational journey reflects her commitment to excellence and continuous learning. She attended the Evangel Group of Schools in Gombe from 2011 to 2016, where she obtained her First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC). She continued her education at Evangel College, Gombe, from 2016 to 2022, earning the West African School Certificate (WASC). In 2022, she further enhanced her skills through the National Computer Literacy Programme, obtaining a certificate in computer literacy. Currently, she is pursuing a Law Degree from the University of Abuja, Nigeria.

Naomi Japheth Adams is a dedicated and registered Medical Laboratory Technologist with a comprehensive foundation in medical laboratory technology. Her career objective is to contribute her technical skills, dedication to accuracy, and commitment to quality patient care in a progressive healthcare environment, ensuring the highest standards of practice and ethics in the field.

Naomi is proficient in the principles and techniques required for effective diagnostic testing. As a registered Medical Laboratory Technologist, she is committed to upholding industry standards and ethical practices. She is skilled in performing various laboratory tests and maintaining and calibrating equipment across diverse areas such as haematology, microbiology, clinical chemistry, and immunology. Naomi has experience in implementing quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results.
